Kahuna's Surf Report

Surf Report

Looks like today may be a wash, we had some showers/storms come through Norco today, thus far, may have been too much for the trail to absorb, will try again Thursday !

Breaux I'm not authorized to make that call, however I will keep updating the weather report since I work in the vicinity and if I get rain the spillway gets rain. I'm sure it will be decided closer to the actual date.

Steve (VTRIDER), gave me a call yesterday and stated that a couple of them rode and that the trail was in good shape with the exception of the few usual low spots. If it doesn't rain today at all it should be really nice for the weekend, if it does shower today in Norco, I'll post it up to inform everyone of the rain,,, If no news then that = NO RAIN !

A planned ride for 6:30 a.m. Saturday if the rain holds out,,,, will be further updates later if warranted !

Baca chaca wow wow,,, :D

For today's Surf Report,,,

Stu, I was going to post up, however after falling victim to a six pack of Shiner Bock, the best freaking brew on planet earth, I really didn't give it too much thought except to savor the aftertaste of that sweet nectar from the beer God's.

Yesterday's ride was freakin awesome as it usually is with the cast of characters that were there,,, Rick, Stu, Sully and a few other new faces appearing out of the woodwork. Trail was freaking awesome and getting dryer with each and every lap after the Human Excavator was plowing up some new berms with the rest of the Goons,,, A whole new meaning to tail whips !

Got reports that the race today was freaking awesome and challenging with a new route introduced by TimT, sorry I wasn't there for you hotshots to beat up on and be on the receiving end of a butt whipping on the trail with those warp speed times that I heard was set by quite a few of the younger Goons,,, Brandon "SUPERFLY" M and Cody "DAGO ROCKET" set a benchmark for new times that may be unsurpassable, damn !

I will be in close touch with weather reports throughout the week and report any downpours of rain that may inhibit trail conditions.

For the Surf Report,,,

There was a thunderstorm that came through NORCO today which dropped enough rain to choke the trail with so much water not to mention the tidal surge from the lake, that was so severe, the trail will be unrideable for quite some time.

Go Roading,,,

Neaux Rain today,,, However, I did hear from a good source that the spillway has lots of standing H2O due to the prevailing southeasterlies that were prevalent all week.

I can't wait for the Fall/Winter, I 'bout had enough of this B.S. weather,,,
